Ask Mr. Answer Person: "Who is in charge of deer crossings in Decorah?"

Bob e-mails Mr. Answer Person: "Who is in charge of the deer crossings in Decorah?  There is a crossing on Locust Road and that is a very high traffic route. I think it would be much safer for the deer if their crossing could be moved someplace where there is less traffic."

Mr. Answer Person says: "My first reaction, Bob,was that you have too much time on your hands.  But then  realized that if you're looking for something to do, you could volunteer your time as a deer crossing guard.  This would be especially effective if you could convince the deer to only cross Locust Road twice a day--once in the morning and once in the evening.  Let us know how these negotiations turn out."
