A new medical clinic in NE Iowa is opening soon

Regional Health Services of Howard County is pleased to announce that the Elma Medical Clinic, located at 600 Busti Ave in Elma, officially opens for medical services on January 4th.

The new clinic was built as a part of the Elma Community Complex (ECC) project and completes the community's goal of bringing healthcare services closer to home.
 
Regional Health Services of Howard County Elma Clinic provides family care services including physicals, prenatal care, acute visits, lab services, well child checks, some pharmacy services, and more. The clinic will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
 
The Elma Clinic will be staffed by a variety of Regional Health Services team members. The main medical provider will be Rebecca Mischel, ARNP accompanied by Ashley Jestrab, RN, and Shianne Throndson, Clinic Lead. Rebecca Mischel, ARNP says, "I love the strong sense of community that has made the Elma Medical Clinic a reality! Patients should have the care they need close to home. I am so excited to get to provide easier access to the residents of Elma and the surrounding community." Dr. Jon Kammerer, MD; Dr. J. David Maher, MD; and Staci Vrzak, ARNP will also provide medical care at the clinic.
