Accident causes $30,000 of damage

22-year-old Lee Kipp of Fort Atkinson was driving south on 227th Ave near County Road B32 at 2:00 a.m. on Christmas Eve.  Kipp went into the ditch and struck an electrical pole.  Kipp left the scene of the accident and later contacted the Sheriff's Office.

Kipp was cited for failure to maintain control and driving while revoked.  The collision caused $30,000 of property damage.
