Decorah Police release details of a parked car being hit

A Monona woman has been ticketed for failure to maintain control of her vehicle following an accident Wednesday on East Broadway Street in Decorah.

Police say they were called to the 400 block of East Broadway at 12:30 Wednesday morning.  After an investigation, police determined that 43-year-old Katie Willis from Monona had struck the rear of an unoccupied, legally parked vehicle, causing extensive damage to both behicles.  Willis was ticketed but was not injured.
