Decorah Police respond to a traffic accident Monday

Decorah Police were called to Montgomery Street on Monday morning.

Around 10:30, police responded to a two-vehicle accident in the parking lot at the Depot Outlet.  78-year-old Karen O'Hare of Waukon pulled into the lot, but then realized she had pulled into the wrong driveway.  She began backing up--and backed into a car driven by 20-year-old Alyssa Johnston of Decorah.

The accident caused $3,700 in damages.  Neither driver was injured.  O'Hare was not ticketed.
