Crews will be doing brush removal on the Bluffton Road early this week, causing temporary closures.
Workers will be removing trees on Bluffton Road from the intersection with Scenic River and north for a mile. Crews will be working from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
It is necessary to have closures due to the large number of trees that need to be felled upon the road surface that overhang the road top. The trees are being removed as part of an effort to decrease the number trees that are hazards. The tree removal also will allow more sunshine to reach the road surfaces to allow the melting of frost/ice/snow reducing need for road surface treatment products.
