Icy roads lead to a rollover on Hwy 9

The Decorah Police Department reports an accident caused by icy road conditions.

Early Sunday morning, 43-year-old Jesse Nation of Tripoli was traveling eastbound on Highway 9 when he skidded on the ice into the ditch on the opposite side of the road.

Nation's 2012 Jeep Liberty overturned and skidded to the bottom of the ditch. The vehicle was totaled. Two passengers were injured — 25-year-old Elizabeth Nation of Tripoli and 24-year-old Casey Nation of Monticello.
