Winneshiek Medical Center Auxiliary's Light for Life program is underway

The Winneshiek Medical Center Auxiliary's 2020 Light for Life program has started.

For a donation of $15 or more, a lighted snowflake is put up in one of the windows of the medical center in honor of a loved one.

This year's WMC Auxiliary Light for Life campaign will support the purchase of a Nu-Step and of a Smart Stand—both for the rehabilitation department.  A Nu-step helps strengthen the muscles around joints, build bone strength, increase range of motion and improve flexibility.  The Smart Stand offers a safe way to transfer weight-bearing patients while they actively participate in a transfer.

Donations may be made at Winneshiek Medical Center or forms are available here through December 31st. Contributions are tax deductible.
