Friends of the Decorah Fish Hatchery are working on new signage at the facility

(Last in a series of stories about projects at the hatchery)

Visitors to the Chuck Gipp Decorah Fish Hatchery will find information about a variety of topics at the new wayside exhibits which are being installed now through 2022.

The panels combine artwork, maps and diagrams, photographs and storytelling. The first panels, which provide information about trout, have been installed in the fish raceway areas.  Additional panels will cover a wide variety of themes and messages related to environmental education, cultural and natural heritage, historic stories, geologic information, and/or natural resources.
