West Union couple arrested on multiple drug charges

On Saturday at 8:15 p.m., Winneshiek County deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 52 north of Calmar. During their investigation on the traffic stop a large quantity of drugs and narcotics (methamphetamine) were discovered.

66-year-old Dale Streif and 65-year-old Lynn Streif, both of West Union, were arrested and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail for B Felony Controlled Substance Violation (Methamphetamine), D Felony Failure to Affix Drug Stamp, Serious Misdemeanor 2nd Offense Possession of Controlled Substance (Marijuana) and Simple Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
