South Winn FFA member named top individual at the Iowa FFA Veterinary Science competition

The annual Iowa FFA Veterinary Science Career Development Event was held virtually this year, but that didn't stop South Winneshiek FFA member Hannah Franzen from being named the High Individual Overall in the competition.

FFA teams from 21 chapters in Iowa participated in this year's Career Development Event. In addition to Hannah Franzen finishing first in the indivdual competition, South Winneshiek FFA member Ashley Elsbernd finished 8th individually and the team as a whole finished 5th.

The FFA contest was designed to provide the students an opportunity to display their agricultural knowledge and skills in the area of veterinary science.
