Vesterheim receives a grant to help pay for Heritage Park

Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum has received a matching grant from Humanities Iowa to help pay for the museum's new Heritage Park.

Council Conducted Partnerships are funding partnerships between Humanities Iowa and eligible non-profit organizations. A one-to-one cash match is required.

Vesterheim's CCP funds will support the installation of interpretive signs for the 12 historic buildings in the new outdoor Heritage Park. The signs share information and images about the builders and users of the structures, and also place the structures in the broader context of local and national history.
