Winneshiek County saw an increase of 83 positive COVID-19 cases, and 40 active cases in just one week.
Wednesday's figures show Clayton County with 1,133 total cases, Fayette County with 1,076 cases, Winneshiek County with 1,012 cases, Chickasaw County with 886 cases, Allamakee County with 851 cases and Howard County with 579 total cases.
Since March, 55 residents of the six NE Iowa counties have died from COVID-19, including 13 in Winneshiek County, 11 in Allamakee County, and 10 in Fayette County.
Fayette County has 533 active cases of COVID-19; Clayton County has 477 active cases, Winneshiek County has 419 active cases, Allamakee County has 377 active cases, Howard County has 275 active cases and Chickasaw County has 153 active cases.
