Bergan Appointed Vice Chair of Iowa House Budget Subcommittee

State Representative Michael Bergan of Dorchester will serve as the Vice Chair of the House Administration and Regulation Appropriations Subcommittee during the upcoming session of the Iowa State Assembly.     

House Speaker Pat Grassley announced the appointment, saying, "Representative Bergan is a strong fiscal conservative who will ensure that Iowans' tax dollars are spent in an efficient and effective manner."

Bergan most recently served as Vice Chairman of the Health and Human Services budget subcommittee.

The legislative session begins Monday, January 11th.
