Minnesota teenager wanted in Faribault County is taken into custody in Winneshiek County

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says deputies took a 17-year-old juvenile from Faribault County, Minnesota into custody Friday afternoon. Deputies arrested the teenager on a warrant for a felony charge of unlawful possession of ammunition, pistol and weapon, a felony charge of Second Degree Assault with a dangerous weapon, a felony charge of making threats of violence and a misdemeanor charge of reckless handling of a dangerous weapon.

The juvenile was booked into the Winneshiek County Jail, where he remains in custody, awaiting extradition to Minnesota.
