Decorah residents Jud and Connie Barclay honored by the Decorah Community Food Pantry

Decorah Community Food Pantry board members are thanking long-time supporters Jud and Connie Barclay, who are moving to Michigan in January to be near family.

The Barclays have both been active in the pantry since its days as part of First Lutheran Church. Jud has been president since the pantry became a private non-profit, and Connie has been acting secretary. She also sent the letters of appreciation to donors.

"Those of us who were lucky enough to work alongside (Jud and Connie) in the pantry have been well served by their friendship, creativity, and leadership," stated newly elected Food Pantry Board vice-president Stephen Zittergruen.
