Oneota Community Food Co-op has hired a new General Manager

The next General Manager of the Oneota Community Food Co-op will be someone who is already working at the Co-op.

Nate Furler has been hired by the Co-op's Board of Directors to take over from David Lester, who will be leaving the Co-op in January after 11 years as GM.

Furler has been involved in the Co-op's operation for more than 13 years. He is a core member of the Co-op's leadership team. His experience has included serving as General Manager in Lester's absence.

The Oneota Community Food Co-op has been in operation since 1974. It was named the 2020 Outstanding Single Store by Progressive Grocer. It is located at 312 West Water Street in Decorah.
