Illinois man strikes a tractor Saturday afternoon on Locust Road

A Geneva, Illinois man—55-year-old James Pickerill—did not see a tractor ahead of him slow to turn into a driveway off Locust Road on Saturday and struck the tractor driven by 18-year-old Collin Malcom of Postville.

Pickerill tried to pass Malcom's tractor on the left and collided with it.  Pickerill's passenger sustained minor injuries.  No ambulance transport was needed.

The accident did a total of $17,500 in damages.  No tickets were issued.
