Cresco driver suffers minor injuries Friday evening in Pole Line Road accident

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says 17-year-old Alex Hanson of Cresco was westbound on Pole Line Road around 6:00 p.m. Friday when he lost control of his vehicle.  The 2009 Ford Edge entered the south ditch and rolled over.

Hanson sustained minor injuries. No ambulance transport was needed.  He was ticketed for failure to maintain control, no valid driver's license and failure to provide proof of insurance. Hanson was also referred to juvenile court services.

The accident caused an estimated $8,200 in damages.
