Decorah floral shop is delivering bouquets to area nursing home residents

The holidays this year are going to look different for everyone, especially those in long term care facilities.  That's why a Decorah floral shop is working to deliver a little holiday cheer to long term care residents.

Using an idea created by Preston Floral in Fillmore county, The Country Garden Flowers and Gifts in Decorah is creating holiday arrangements which it will deliver to residents in a long term care facility in Decorah, Ossian or Postville. 

The cost to sponsor a floral arrangement is $20 including tax and delivery.  The gift can be sent to a specific person in a long term care facility, or it can be sent to someone selected by the floral shop.

Orders must be placed by calling (563) 382-1148--orders will not be taken from comments or private messages. Phone calls must be made by Tuesday, December 1st.
