Luther College is creating activities for those on campus during Thanksgiving break

There will be no classes held at Luther College until Monday, November 30th, but that doesn't mean the campus will shut down over the next week.
For those staying on campus--and even for those heading home, but staying in touch virtually--the college has created a series of events. For instance, there's a Thanksgiving bingo challenge, with supplies available at the Student Org. Suite; free popcorn or hot cocoa on Monday and Tuesday at the Luther Library; a "Yappy Hour" at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, when faculty, staff and students can join a Zoom session with their pets; and a virtual Pictionary game at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 27th.
While some students are staying on campus, other students will be staying at their homes even after the Thanksgiving break ends. Luther earlier announced that it would be adding a virtual learning option for its students starting November 30th. That will be in addition to those who will take classes on campus.
Luther College officials say they are planning to have classes resume in an in-person format starting on Monday, January 4th, with the students back in residence in Decorah.
