Decorah School District COVID-19 numbers are increasing

The latest COVID-19 numbers from the Decorah Community School district show a rise in numbers over the last two weeks, but a more modest increase than for the COVID-19 numbers countywide.

Thursday's report shows 69 students who are either quarantining or isolating because of COVID-19, with 9 staff members either quarantining or isolating.  That compares to less than six staff members and 55 students who were quarantining or isolating on November 5th.

Countywide, the positivity rate has gone from 11 percent on November 5th to 16.6 percent on Thursday.
