Your last chance to get a flu shot this season from a clinic held by Winneshiek County Public Health will be this Thursday afternoon in Calmar. Public Health is hosting a drive-through flu shot clinic from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the Calmar Lutheran Church.
Public Health officials say a limited amount of vaccine is available. The flu mist is also available. No multi-valent flu vaccine for people 65 and older is available, although seniors can use the regular vaccine.
Public Health Director Krista Vanden Brink says this will probably be the final flu clinic they hold this season, saying that COVID-19 cases mean "we don't have time for additional flu clinics."
