Across Iowa, there have been 4,764 new, confirmed cases within the past 24-hours, which brings the state's total number of cases to 166,021. The number of active positive cases in the state is 61,810.
According to the state's dashboard, 230 new patients were hospitalized across Iowa in the past 24 hours. This sets another record for the total number of hospitalizations in the state at 1,190. Of those hospitalizations, 210 are in the ICU and 101 are on ventilators. The state reports 26 deaths within this time frame, leaving the state's death toll at 1,898.
