COVID-19 cases in Winneshiek County go over the 600 mark

Winneshiek County reached 100 COVID cases on August 13th; 200 cases on August 28th; 250 cases on September 10th; 300 cases on September 22nd; 400 cases on October 15th and 500 cases on October 29th. It took only eight days for the county to surpass the 600 mark.
As of mid-afternoon on Sunday, 626 COVID-19 cases had been reported in Winneshiek County since the epidemic began. Nine county residents have died from the disease, while 443 have recovered. That means 174 county residents still have COVID.
In the six counties of NE Iowa, Clayton County has the most COVID cases, with 678 since March. Allamakee County has had 492 cases; Fayette County has had 570; Chickasaw County has had 461 cases and Howard County has had 325. That means the six counties have had over 3,000 cases--3,152 as of Sunday afternoon.
In all 38 residents of the six counties have died from COVID, while 1,118 are still in recovery.
