The now 6th graders at South Winneshiek School were able to finally have their 5th grade D.A.R.E. graduation after it was postponed earlier this year.

The ceremony, which took place on November 2nd, was originally supposed to be in the spring. Due to the school closing early because of the the COVID-19 pandemic, the graduation was postponed.

The D.A.R.E. program provides students with ways to handle bullying and peer pressure, different ways to avoid drug and alcohol use, and safe and responsible decision-making skills.
