Waukon man faces aggravated misdemeanor charge after traffic stop Thursday night

51-year-old Timothy Clark of Waukon was taken into custody are 6:30 Thursday night after deputies were called to 360th Street and 113th Avenue in Highland Township near Highlandville.

After investigating the situation, deputies arrested Clark and took him to the Winneshiek County Jail on an aggravated misdemeanor charge of driving while barred. Clark was also ticketed for operating a non-registered vehicle, fraudulent use of registration and failure to provide proof of insurance.
