500 Winneshiek County residents have been diagnosed with COVID-19

Winneshiek County has reached another COVID-19 milestone. The Iowa Department of Public Health says there have been 500 county residents diagnosed with COVID since March.
Winneshiek County reached 100 COVID cases on August 13th; 200 cases on August 28th; 250 cases on September 10th; 300 cases on September 22nd and 400 cases on October 15th. The 500 mark was broken late Thursday afternoon.
As of 9:00 a.m. Friday, Winneshiek County had a total of 517 COVID cases; Clayton county had 501 cases; Fayette County had 413 cases; Allamakee county had 409 cases; Chickasaw County had 377 cases and Howard County had 287 cases. That represents a total of 2,504 cases for the six counties in NE Iowa.
