22 Decorah High School music students have been recognized as 2020 All-State Music Ensemble members.  This fall all students auditioned with solo recorded videos. The All-State Music Festival will not be held this year due to COVID-19, however, the selections are the highest musical honors for Iowa high school musicians.

Selected to the All-State Chorus were sopranos Leila Johnson, Maggie Kane, Mikiah Krieg and Ada Lovelace; altos Ally Bouska, Jenna Hartz, Maria Hendrickson, Amber Hussain and Sierra Kruger; tenors Tyler Irwin, Nolan Jacobsen, Nolan Jostand, Noah Lovelace, Dylan Muhlbauer, and Michael Njus; and basses Gabriel Hiner and Thomas Ostlie.

Selected to the All-State Orchestra were cellists Jenna Lundtvedt and Anja Madsen; and violinist Adrian Huang.

Selected to the All-State Band were flutist Sarah Pedlar and euphonium player Peter Wilson.  Additionally, trombonist Eli Vorvick was selected as a first alternate.
