One day after the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office released information about a Des Moines woman who crashed into several vehicles on Highway 9 in Decorah on October 9th, the Decorah Police Department has issued accident reports.

The three separate crash reports say 48-year-old Crystal LeCroy of Des Moines was stopped by Sheriff's Deputies around 10:30 that Friday night.  However, she then backed up and rammed her SUV into the squad car, disabling it and causing $10,000 in damages.  She then struck two vehicles in the parking lot of KAR Auto, causing an estimated $8,000 in damages.

A second crash report says LeCroy headed west onto Highway 9, approaching a vehcile driven by 70-year-old Thomas Woodhouse of Carlisle.  Woodhouse tried to evade LeCroy's vehicle, but it sideswiped Woodhouse's SUV, causing minor damage.

By this time, it was shortly after midnight.  LeCroy then continued to drive west on Highway 9, striking a vehicle driven by 67-year-old Gary Keefe of Ridgeway, forcing it off the road.  Decorah Police stopped to help Keefe, but a second squad car was able to stop LeCroy half a mile later.

11 criminal charges are now pending against LeCroy.
