Total number of COVID-19 cases in the six counties of NE Iowa has surpassed 2,000

The six counties that make up NE Iowa have reported a combined total of 2,015 COVID-19 cases. That's an increase of 125 cases since October 15th.

Winneshiek County continues to have the highest number of cases with 433, followed by Clayton County with 351, Fayette County with 339, Allamakee County with 327, Chickasaw County with 320, and Howard County with 247.

In Winneshiek County, the County Health Nursing Department says 33 people are now in isolation because of COVID-19—an increase of 13 from Friday. There are also two Winneshiek County residents who have been hospitalized out of town with serious COVID-19 reactions.
