The Answer Person updates information about the availability of Fluzone High-Dose Quadrivalent flu vaccine in the area

Last week, The Answer Person said there have been delays in getting the quadrivalent flu shots intended for people 65 and older (http://www.decorahnews.com/news-stories/2020/10/26537.html)

Now we can update our answer to say that the flu shots are available in the Decorah area, but currently only in the following two locations:

Winneshiek Medical Center

Gundersen Clinic Decorah

Winneshiek County Public Health says it has run out of the quadrivalent flu shots for people 65 and older and is waiting for resupplies. However, Winneshiek County Public Health does have the regular flu vaccine for ages 2 years and older. The drive-up and park flu clinics at Winneshiek County Public Health continue to be held from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
