COVID-19 rates in the Decorah Community School District are up slightly

The latest statistics from the Decorah Community School district show that COVID-19 rates among students and staff members have increased slightly.
Last Thursday there were 27 students and less than six staff members who were quarantining or isolating because of COVID-19. This Thursday, October 15th, there were 35 students quarantining or isolating.
In terms of actual COVID-19 positive tests, out of approximately 290 school district staff members, there have been seven positive cases, with six of those having recovered. Our of approximately 1,575 students on-site at school district buildings, ten have tested positive for COVID-19, with less than six having recovered.
