Multiple charges filed against a Decorah man accused of livestock neglect

40-year-old Patrick Falck of Burr Oak and Hesper has been charged with two counts of serious misdemeanor neglect of livestock, and multiple counts of simple misdemeanor failure to properly dispose of dead animals.

A search warrant was served on Falck Tuesday, leading to an investigation at three locations in the Burr Oak and Hesper area. The Sheriff's Office was assisted by a local veterinarian, the Winneshiek County Sanitarian and the Winneshiek County Attorney's Office.
