OWI charges filed in Winneshiek County against a New Hampton man

A New Hampton man was arrested early Sunday morning in Fort Atkinson on a charge of drunk driving.
46-year-old Mavmut Dzaferi was stopped by a sheriff's deputy at 2:30 a.m. The deputy then arrested Dzaferi on a charge of Operating a Motor Vehicle While under the Influence.
Dzaferi was taken to Decorah, where he was booked into the Winneshiek County Jail on the operating while under the influence charge.
