Absentee balloting for the 2020 Election will begin Monday

The 2020 election is getting underway in Winneshiek County.

Monday is the first day for absentee voting by mail.  Voting by mail will be available through October 24th.  There are two options for voting by mail--either mailing the absentee ballot or dropping off the ballot at the Winneshiek County Courthouse dropbox, located just in front of the entrance to the courthouse.

Another option is absentee voting in the County Auditor's Office, which also begins Monday and will be available through November 2nd.  The Auditor's Office is open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
