First flu shot clinic of the season will be held Wednesday

Winneshiek County Public Health will be offering a drive-through flu clinic from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Winneshiek County Fairgrounds.

County health nurses are asking those attending to please wear a t-shirt and a mask and to have their insurance card ready. The cost of the flu shot is $35. Winneshiek County Public Health does accept some forms of insurance.

The drive-through flu clinic is for front seat passengers only. Please call the office to make arrangements for larger groups at (563) 382-4662.

The Winneshiek County Public Health office will be closed on Wednesday so that staff may assist in the drive-through clinic.
