Decorah man dies in single-vehicle accident

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says a Decorah man was killed Sunday morning when he lost control of his SUV while driving on Middle Ossian Road.
52-year-old Alan Hageman was traveling north on Middle Ossian Road when he lost control traveling downhill, entered the east ditch and hit a field driveway. Hageman was later found at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Calmar Fire Department, Ossian Fire Department, Ossian Ambulance and Winneshiek County Ambulance Service and first responders.
