In light of the higher traffic levels caused by the opening of the new Kwik Star convenience store on Montgomery Street, the Decorah City Council has approved traffic control devices on Commerce Drive.
Yellow painted no parking zones will be created on Montgomery Street at the Highway 9 intersection and four "No Parking This Side" signs will be installed on the southwest side of Montgomery Street from Highway 9 to Commerce Drive.
The Decorah City Council also approved the use of two Water Street parking spaces by Impact Coffee in front of its store and two Winnebago Street parking spaces by Donlon Pharmacy next to its store.
