The Luther College Student Academic Support Center is getting a new name

The Student Academic Support Center at Luther College has been renamed.

The "Center for Academic Enrichment" will continue the mission of the Student Academic Support Center to help students develop confidence in their abilities and achieve their greatest academic potential. Luther College vice president for institutional equity and inclusion and student success Lisa Scott says the name change better reflects this work.

Scott says the new CAE will place a strong emphasis on a student's academic strengths and possibilities as opposed to their weaknesses. She says staff will also be collaborating more with various centers on campus including the Luther College Counseling Service, the Career Center and the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching.
