Northeast Iowa Community College will sign a formal agreement with the U.S. Department of Agriculture

NICC representatives and other higher education members of the Community College Alliance for Agriculture Advancement will hold a virtual ceremony next Monday to sign a national memorandum of understanding with  the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Natural Resource Conservation Service.

The agreement will support hands-on student learning in the field, will work to develop future conservation-minded farmers and ranchers and will help to cultivate more graduates interested in pursuing careers with NRCS.
