Top administrator at Winneshiek Medical Center will retire at the end of the year

Winneshiek Medical Center Chief Administrative Officer Lisa Radtke has announced her intentions to retire around the end of the year.

Radtke joined Winneshiek Medical Center in 2014 following a 34-year career in behavioral health and human resources with Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse.

WMC Board of Trustees Chair Rick Burras said, "Lisa has led our organization through a great deal of change. From financial peaks and valleys, to the adoption of the new electronic medical record, and ,most recently, the COVID-19 pandemic, Lisa has demonstrated her deep commitment to our patients, Winneshiek Medical Center and Mayo Clinic Health System."

Radtke said, "What I value most are the people and relationships I came to know through this privileged opportunity to serve in health care. I have been touched immeasurably by so many patients and colleagues throughout my career. I hope, along the way, I have touched them as well."
