Hy-Vee discloses more information about its new Decorah store

The new Hy-Vee grocery store will open in Decorah on September 22nd.  Hy-Vee officials on Tuesday announced that the 28,000-square-foot store will offer a full selection of grocery items; a Wall of Values; a full-service meat department; and a floral department with prearranged offerings. Additional amenities include a Hy-Vee Market Grille; an adjacent Wine and Spirits section; an in-store Starbucks; Hy-Vee Aisles Online grocery services; and self-checkout lanes.

The opening of the new Decorah Hy-Vee will create 88 local jobs, including 20 full-time positions. Hy-Vee is still taking applications for its Decorah jobs--applicants can search positions and apply at www.hy-vee.com/careers.

The new store will be open from 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m., seven days a week.  Its adjacent Wine and Spirits section will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
