Winneshiek County Recorder's Office: Renew your snowmobile or ATV/UTV licenses while coming to the Courthouse to vote or pay taxes

September is a month when many Winneshiek County property owners come to the Courthouse to pay their property taxes in the Treasurer's Office.  This year, they might also visit the Auditor's Office to register to vote.

The staff of the County Recorder's Office is encouraging people to cross the hall to their office renew licenses for their ATVs, ORVs, and Snowmobiles.

For all vehicles that are up to date, the renewal fee is $17.75 + $1.00 mailing fee.  For all vehicles that are NOT up to date, the renewal fee is $27.75 + $1.00 mailing fee. ($5 partial year fee to finish out 2020, and $5 late penalty).  Trail passes are also for sale at $17.75.
