Laurie e-mails: "Does a sale of the North Winn complex need to be voted on by the public/county?"

The Answer Person says: "First of all, county government is not involved—this is a Decorah School District issue.  School districts do not need to hold a referendum involving property—unless they're asking for approval of a bond issue to raise money to buy property.  As for selling property, that would be a decision made by the five members of the Decorah School Board."
