Decorah Police say they were called to Montgomery Street at the Highway 9 intersection at 11:45 Thursday morning.
49-year-old Shannon Adams of Ferryville, Wisconsin, says she was stopped at a red light at the intersection when her car was run into from behind by a car driven by 21-year-old Sarah Ryan of Waukon. Ryan told police she was also stopped for the red light, thought it had changed to green and struck Adams' vehicle.
Damage to the two cars was minor, but a 5-year-old girl in Adams' car complained of neck pain and was taken to Winneshiek Medical Center.
