Charges have been filed against a West Union man following an incident Wednesday morning in Decorah.

Decorah Police say they were called to the Kwik Star on Montgomery Street shortly before 3:00 a.m.  Callers said a middle-aged man was vandalizing the store and causing a scene.

Jeremy Meyer of West Union was taken into custody, transported to the Winneshiek County Jail and charged with indecent exposure and 4th degree criminal mischief.  Early estimates are that the store suffered $500 in damages.
