City Planning & Zoning Commission approves site plan for Decorah HS softball stadium improvements

The Decorah School District has received one of the necessary approvals for its proposed upgraded softball stadium.

The Decorah Planning & Zoning Commission Monday night unanimously approved a site plan for the project.  The Decorah City Council will vote next on the plan, which was drawn up by Emergent Architecture and carries a projected price tag of approximately $300,000,

The project will include new bleachers with more seating, handicap accessibility ramps, and center walking aisles.  It will also include an updated concessions area and updated accessable restrooms with heat;
