Winneshiek County school districts will be getting help finding PPE supplies

Posted: Mon, Aug 10, 2020 2:30 PM

One of the ways Winneshiek County school districts will prepare for a fall semester where the coronavirus is a big concern is by having enough personal protective equipment (PPE) on hand when the school year starts.

Winneshiek County Emergency Government Coordinator Sean Snyder is working with school districts in the county to make sure that happens.

Snyder told county supervisors Monday he's talked with staffers at all school districts in the county, taking their requests for PPE supplies.  He says the equipment will probably be shipped to the Winneshiek County Recycling Center in Freeport and then disbursed to all of the school districts in the area.
