Former Alliant Energy downtown Decorah office building has been sold

There's a new owner of the former Alliant Energy building at 219 West Water Street in downtown Decorah.

Agave Ventures LLC is a California-based company which does business nationwide.  They completed the purchase of the building Thursday.

Agave representative Alex Tsaturov says his company "came across" the listing a couple of months ago and was excited about the downtown location in a thriving community.  "The building is in good shape," Tsaturov tells decorahnews.com.

He says the company is looking for tenants who are interested in a central downtown location, mentioning possible retail, restaurant, professional services or commercial tenants for the building.

The building has 3,200 square feet of building on the first floor and the same amount of space in a lower level.  There are also six designated parking spaces off the back of the building.
